🌎 HubSpot Solutions engineer
Job Description
Digital Reach is a global HubSpot Diamond Partner agency providing business process automation solutions for SMB, mid-market, and enterprise businesses worldwide. With a customer-centric approach, we deliver best-in-class business solutions that allow organizations to automate both simple and complex tasks leveraging HubSpot’s suite of offerings. Join a fast-growing agency delivering comprehensive automation solutions to empower businesses to be more efficient, profitable, and successful.
As a Solutions Engineer, you will work on some of the most complex HubSpot builds that come through our (virtual) doors. To do so, you’ll work closely with Solutions Consultants to provide internal consulting and product recommendations for complex HubSpot use cases. When a complex HubSpot solution is sold, you’ll work with the Solutions Consultant to ensure that the items the client has been consulted on are turned into concrete tasks and deliverables that can be executed by the Implementation team. Knowing that these are complex builds, you’ll need to determine what you will build yourself, what is ready to be built by others and when, and to generally ensure overall that overall project objectives are met.
This is not a project management role, but you will work closely with project managers to ensure that all items from a complex build plan are actioned by the appropriate teams. For complex projects, essentially, the Solutions Engineer is the bridge between the Solutions Consultant and the Implementation team that will be doing the bulk of the HubSpot building.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with Solutions Consultants to ensure that all complex projects that have been consulted on have specific tasks, deliverables, etc. to be actioned
- Collaborate with Solutions Consultant to run an effective hand-off of the Build Plan
- Ensure that the Build Plan you are provided by the Solutions Consultant has enough info and context to be actioned
- Define, strategize, and implement data models and data flows to and from the HubSpot CRM to meet customer process and automation needs
- Produce requirements documentation, business processes schematics, functional specifications, to guide the Implementation team as needed
- Work internally with our sales teams to solve for transactional deal support
- Staying up to date with the latest features and functionality of the HubSpot platform
The Ideal Candidate Has:
- At least one year of professional experience with the HubSpot CRM platform, or another similar platform
- Business and tech savvy and can quickly understand a client’s organizational structure and tech stack
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to drive complex execution and implementation through a globally dispersed team
- Significant experience using and/or consulting on the use of HubSpot or a similar CRM
- Fundamental understanding of client-server relationship and how an API works
- A team-first attitude but loves autonomy in their role
- Exceptional organizational skills and a self-starting mindset
- Serious problem solving chops and is adaptable (and embraces) change
- Great comfort explaining complex solutions to non-technical individuals
Bonus Points If You Have
- At least one year of business consulting experience
- Experience integrating systems, leveraging APIs, and/or custom building integrations
- Ability to read, understand and synthesize technical documentation, including API documentation
- Business or systems analysis experience
- Experience in a technical consulting role
But You Should Know:
This isn’t the place for everyone. You’ll have a lot of autonomy, but the expectations are high, the work is fast-paced, and the hats are many. We’re looking for people with grit who take ownership, see the big picture, and are always thinking about how we can do even better the next time.
